Getting Started with Clipzu
Create a project, build your edit, and export a finished video from your browser.
1. CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
Open /register and enter your display name, email address, and password. Follow the verification link sent to your email before signing in. If Google sign-in is offered, follow the on-screen flow. Use a password you do not reuse elsewhere.
2. START A PROJECT
Sign in and open Projects. Create a project with a recognizable name, then open its editor. Import the video, images, and audio you want to use. Uploading requires a working connection and enough storage allowance.
3. BUILD YOUR TIMELINE
Place media on the timeline, arrange clips, and use trim and split controls to shape the story. Check framing and timing in the preview. Add text and audio as needed. Use the controls available in the current workspace.
4. WORK WITH CAPTIONS AND MOVEMENT
Use available caption tools to generate or edit captions. Review words, names, timing, and punctuation; automatic transcription can make mistakes. Make sure you have permission to process the voices and footage. Use keyframes where supported, then scrub and play the preview to check the result.
5. SAVE AND REOPEN
Let project saves complete before closing your browser. Reopen saved projects from your account. Keep original media and important finished files somewhere you control. A saved online project is not a substitute for your own archive.
6. EXPORT AND DOWNLOAD
Review your edit, open export, and choose among the available settings. Wait for processing to finish, then download and check the video. Completed export outputs have retention limits, so save files you need to keep.
7. CHECK YOUR ALLOWANCES
Visit /pricing for the catalogue and Billing for your account's current plan. Storage, saved projects, exports, and processing allowances may limit what you can do. Check the displayed limits before starting a large project.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If media or a document fails to load, check your connection and try the displayed retry action. For an upload or export failure, note the exact error and check your allowance. For persistent problems, open Support from your account and describe the steps that led to the issue.
ACCOUNT SETTINGS
Settings provides profile and password controls and an account-deletion action. Download needed files before deleting an account. Cancelling a paid plan and deleting an account are separate actions; review Billing first.
