Terms of Use
Effective date: 23 October 2026
Last updated: 23 October 2026
These Terms govern your use of Clipzu, a browser-based video editing service. Clipzu is a brand currently operated by an individual; it is not a separately incorporated company. Before purchasing, review the legal seller identified in the checkout. If it is not clearly identified, do not complete the purchase and contact support@clipzu.com.
1. Agreement and eligibility
These Terms apply when they are presented to you and you agree to them through the method shown before the relevant contract is formed. The version presented at that time applies, subject to any notice or renewed agreement required by law.
You may use Clipzu only if you are legally able to enter a binding agreement. If you create an account for an organization, you confirm that you have authority to accept these Terms for it.
2. The service
Clipzu provides a browser-based workspace for editing video and working with image, audio, text, and caption material. Depending on the workflow and plan available to you, the service may include a timeline, project storage, caption styling, transcription, automated clip suggestions, and video export. Available features and limits are shown in the service and the offer presented to you.
Some processing takes place on Clipzu’s servers or through service providers. Clipzu does not promise that every file, format, browser, language, device, setting, or workflow is supported. You are responsible for checking that a specific workflow meets your needs before relying on its result.
3. Your account
Provide accurate account information, protect your sign-in details, and tell Clipzu at support@clipzu.com if you believe someone has accessed your account without permission. You are responsible for activity through your account to the extent permitted by law. Do not share or transfer your account except as permitted by your plan and applicable law.
4. Plans, prices, and payment
Clipzu may offer free and paid plans. The available plans, features, limits, price, currency, billing interval, first charge date, renewal terms, taxes or additional charges, and any trial or promotion are the details shown for your purchase before you confirm it. Check that offer and your receipt. Do not complete a purchase if material billing information is missing or differs from the amount you intend to pay.
A paid subscription renews for the interval shown in the offer until it is cancelled. The seller for a transaction is the party identified in the checkout and receipt. A payment provider may process a payment or provide account tools; its role can depend on the transaction. The Refund Policy explains where to direct a billing request.
5. Cancellation and withdrawal
To stop future subscription renewals, open Billing and follow the cancellation option and confirmation steps shown for your account. Keep the confirmation and check the effective date. If you cannot access the account or the shown cancellation route does not work, contact support@clipzu.com.
Cancelling future renewal does not by itself refund a completed charge. A statutory withdrawal, termination, or other legal remedy is separate from subscription cancellation. To make a statutory request, use the method provided with your purchase or contact support@clipzu.com. Nothing in these Terms says that ordinary use of Clipzu alone waives a legal right.
6. Your content
You keep any ownership rights you already have in video, audio, images, text, projects, captions, and other material that you upload or create. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to use that material and ask Clipzu to process it.
You give Clipzu permission to host, transmit, copy, and process your content as needed to carry out the features you choose, secure and maintain the service, provide support, and comply with law. This permission is limited to those purposes and does not transfer ownership of your content to Clipzu.
7. Transcription, suggestions, and exports
Transcription and automated clip suggestions can contain errors or omit context. Review captions, timing, suggestions, and exports before relying on them or sharing them. An automated result may not be accurate or suitable for every purpose. These limitations do not remove any remedy you may have if a paid service fails to meet a requirement imposed by law.
An export may fail because of a file, project setting, technical issue, or service dependency. If a material problem prevents use of a paid feature, contact the responsible seller as described in the Refund Policy.
8. Acceptable use and copyright
Do not use Clipzu to break the law, infringe another person’s rights, distribute malware, interfere with the service, access another person’s account or content without permission, or evade a security or usage limit. Do not upload content unless you have permission to use it for your chosen workflow.
A rights holder may send a copyright concern to support@clipzu.com. Include enough information to identify the work and the material at issue. Clipzu may review a sufficiently specific report and restrict access where reasonably necessary and permitted by law. If your content is restricted, you may contact support@clipzu.com to provide relevant information or request review.
9. Projects, storage, and account deletion
Clipzu stores project and media data to provide the features you use. Plan limits shown in the service apply to your account. Storage limits are not a promise that a separate backup or recovery copy exists.
You may request account deletion through Settings. Deletion and subscription cancellation are separate processes: a deletion request does not by itself cancel a subscription. Deletion may take time when billing must be checked, work is still running, or stored files need to be cleaned up. Export any content you want to keep before deletion when the service permits. If a technical fault causes project or media loss, contact support@clipzu.com and describe what happened. Account deletion does not limit rights you may have under applicable privacy law.
10. Third-party services
Some Clipzu functions depend on third-party services, including payment, account, hosting, storage, transcription, or export services. A provider may have its own terms for the part of the service it operates. Clipzu remains responsible for obligations that applicable law places on it.
External AI-provider integration is limited to Auto Clipper and is separate from transcription. The Privacy Policy explains its current configuration, data handling, browser storage and deletion limitations: https://clipzu.com/privacy-policy.
11. Suspension and termination
Clipzu may restrict access when reasonably necessary to address a serious security risk, unlawful use, a material breach of these Terms, or non-payment. Where it is safe and practical, Clipzu will explain the reason and give you a chance to respond or ask for review. A restriction should be proportionate to the issue and consistent with applicable law.
You may stop using Clipzu at any time. Subscription cancellation and account deletion follow the separate processes described above. If Clipzu ends a paid feature or materially changes the service, your accrued rights and any remedy required by law remain available.
12. Changes to these Terms
Clipzu may update these Terms by giving notice of a material change and its effective date. A change does not apply retroactively to an existing dispute or remove rights that have already accrued. Clipzu will seek renewed agreement where required by law. A changed price will be disclosed before it is charged, with any notice or agreement required by law. A price change does not alter a charge already made. If a material change affects a paid service, applicable law may give you a right to cancel or another remedy.
13. Warranties and liability
Clipzu will provide the service with the care required by applicable law. Service availability and outputs can vary, and Clipzu does not promise uninterrupted service or a particular creative result unless that promise is part of the offer you accepted.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right, remedy, or liability that applicable law does not allow a business to exclude or limit. No provision requires you to indemnify Clipzu for a claim caused by Clipzu’s own conduct.
14. Complaints and disputes
For billing questions, use the contact on your receipt or email support@clipzu.com. For other complaints, email support@clipzu.com. Mandatory protections available where you live continue to apply.
15. General
If a provision cannot be enforced, the remaining provisions apply to the extent permitted by law. A delay in enforcing a provision does not waive a right. You may not transfer your agreement except as permitted by law. Clipzu may transfer its rights and obligations only as permitted by law and with any required notice.
The Refund Policy is available at https://clipzu.com/refund-policy. Review it before purchase. If it is unavailable, contact support@clipzu.com before completing a purchase.
